Plumbing problems are relatively commonplace inside rental homes, but fortunately, it's normally pretty easy to resolve these situations on your own.
If you've tried to flush the toilet and found it's clogged, use a plunger to push the clog through.
If your sink or shower drain isn't working properly, attempt to run some drain cleaner through the system. If this doesn't resolve the issue, make a repair request.
If you lose electrical power in your rental property, call your utility company before getting in touch with us. They'll be better equipped to help you troubleshoot the problem and help you determine whether this is an isolated problem or an issue on the grid.
Is your water heater not working properly? Check the settings on the side of the tank; if your water heater is gas powered, check that the pilot light is lit.
If you make any changes to the settings, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again.
If your heat or air conditioning isn't working properly, check the settings on your home's central thermostat. It's easy to accidentally change the settings and cause the HVAC to shut down.
If you're unable to resolve the issue, get in touch with us.
If you're in a dangerous situation and concerned about your personal safety, please call 911 for first responders.
